Electronic Load Setup

Sets the electronic load device.

Impedance measurement (current interrupt method)

SOUR:CURR

Sets the load current of the PLZ-4W Series.

Command

SOURce:CURRent[:DC][:LEVel] {<numeric>|MIN|MAX|DEF}

SOURce:CURRent[:DC][:LEVel]? [{MIN|MAX}]

Parameter

Value: 0 to the rated load current of the PLZ-4W (default: 0)
Unit: A

Table 4 shows the setting that is specified when *RST or *RCL is sent.

Response

Returns the load current in the NR3 form in response to SOUR:CURR?.

SOUR:CURR:EXT

Sets the load current of the external load unit.

Command

SOURce:CURRent[:DC]:EXTernal {<numeric>|MIN|MAX|DEF}

SOURce:CURRent[:DC]:EXTernal? [{MIN|MAX}]

Parameter

Value: 0 to the value specified by Setup > Aux DC Load in the menu (default: 0)
Unit: A

Response

Returns the load current of the external load unit in the NR3 form in response to SOUR:CURR:EXT.

SOUR:CURR:RANG

Sets the range of the load current.

Command

SOURce:CURRent[:DC]:RANGe {LOW|MEDium|HIGH}

SOURce:CURRent[:DC] :RANGe?

Parameter

Value: LOW, MEDium, or HIGH (default: HIGH)

Response

Returns the range of the load current in response to SOUR:CURR:RANG?.

SOUR:VOLT

Sets the voltage of the PLZ-4W Series.

Command

SOURce:VOLTage[:DC][:LEVel] {<numeric>|MIN|MAX|DEF}

SOURce:VOLTage[:DC][:LEVel]? [{MIN|MAX}]

Parameter

Value: 0 to 150 (default: 0)
Unit: V

Returns the voltage of the PLZ-4W Series in the NR3 form in response to SOUR:VOLT?.

SOUR:VOLT:RANG

Sets the voltage range of the PLZ-4W Series.

Command

SOURce:VOLTage[:DC] :RANGe?

Parameter

Value: LOW or HIGH (default: HIGH)

SOUR:VOLT:PROT:LOW

Sets the activation voltage of the undervoltage protection (UVP).

SOURce:VOLTage[:DC]:PROTection:LOWer? [{MIN|MAX}]

Parameter

Value: -1 Turns of the UVP function of the PLZ-4W (default).
0 to 150

Returns the activation voltage of the undervoltage protection (UVP) in the NR3 form in response to SOUR:VOLT:PROT:LOW?.

SOUR:POW:PROT

Sets the activation power of the overpower protection (PLZ4W OPP).

SOURce:POWer:PROTection:[Upper] {<numeric>|MIN|MAX|DEF}

SOURce:POWer:PROTection:[Upper]? [{MIN|MAX}]

Parameter

Value: 0 to the rated load power of the PLZ-4W (default: rated load power)
Unit: W
